As the founder of HerArt Foundation, my journey is deeply rooted in building a lasting legacy with a purposeful advocacy. As a working artist, first-generation immigrant and a survivor of domestic violence, I've encountered challenges that have only fueled my determination to make a difference and art has always been my guiding light. HerArt Foundation was born out of a desire to empower Female AAPI artists and utilize their arts to talk about social issues. I believe that the mission of artists is for them to ultimately become a ‘visual historian’, talking about contemporary stories and document them. With this, we advocate for survivors of gender-based violence and marginalized voices in our community, using art as a powerful medium for a social change.

Our mission is clear: advocacy through art to paint the world into a more inclusive place.

True compassion is not just an emotional response but a firm commitment founded on reason.
