Sponsored by KANWIN, CBCAC and Chi-AWE, HerArt Foundation coordinated a 3-session art workshop advocating the survivors of domestic violence. For the last session, HerArt Foundation artist Sona Kim created an art piece with the donated garments from the survivors.

Sponsored by Seoul Taco, a Korean-Mexican Street Fare in Chicago, IL, HerArt Fondation hosted a fundraiser for the 2024 AAPI Heritage Month and AAPI Female artist advocacy. The event was held at Seoul Taco River North, on May 25th, 2024.

“Conversation:” is HerArt Foundation’s annual artist talk series, fostering dialogue around pivotal themes in contemporary art and society. This year’s discussion explores two compelling topics: Artists and Their Role: Social Impact and Responsibility and Defining Home: Identity and Art Making. Join us as artists delve into how their work shapes and reflects social responsibility, as well as how concepts of “home” inform their creative identities. Hosted by HerArt Foundation and sponsored by The Research House for Asian Art, this event provides a platform for meaningful exchange on the impact of art in personal and collective spaces.
