Advocacy through Art

At the heart of our mission, we utilize the power of art from female AAPI artists to address social issues such as gender-based violence and support marginalized voices. Through our work, we aim to build a community that fosters inclusivity and spread compassion around us.

“In the end, only kindness matters. Art is the way we express our humaneness.”

— Amy Tan, Asian American Author

Our Mission

  • The core mission of our organization is to empower AAPI artists and utilize their talents to talk about social issues. We support the artists by offering opportunities such as exhibitions, funding and networking.

  • HerArt Foundation is dedicated to supporting survivors of gender-based violence by establishing an Art Healing Circle. This initiative aims to harness the therapeutic power of art, offering a supportive community where survivors can express themselves in a safe space and embark on a journey of healing.

  • HerArt Foundation is committed to uplifting marginalized voices, with a particular emphasis on immigrants. We recognize the profound significance of capturing immigration stories through art, believing that these narratives hold immense power. By doing so, our aim is to establish a supportive community for immigrants, offering understanding and a shared space for expression and healing.
